PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of a public hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247 and 170 as amended) and the Greene Township Code (as amended). The purpose of said public hearing is for the Greene Township Zoning Hearing Board to hear a request submitted by Scott Rubenstein, 2358 Somerset Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Property is located in the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District. Applicant is requesting a variance of the 20’ minimum required setback distance from side and rear property lines for an inground swimming pool. Requested is a variance in the amount of 4 feet for the pool to be located within 16 feet of the rear property line. Request is in reference to Greene Township Code 105-28.A(2). The public hearing on this request will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
