NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
FOR PUBLIC IMPROVMENTS
PROJECT NO. 1-2026: Pulverizing and Asphalt Pavement, Concrete Curb and Gutter, Concrete Carriage Walk, Concrete Driveway Apron, Total Restoration and Related Work in S. Kansas Ave from E Norwich Ave toward E Leroy Ave, S. Ellen St from E. St. Francis Ave to City Limits, E. Eden Pl from S. Ellen St to S. Pennsylvania Ave, S. Vermont Ave from E. Koenig Ave to E. Crawford Ave.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held before the Common Council of the City of St. Francis at 7:00 P.M. on the 8th day of April 2026 in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 3400 East Howard Avenue, St. Francis, Wisconsin at which time the Common Council will hear from all interested persons, or their agents or attorneys, concerning the preliminary resolution and engineer's report regarding the use of special assessment power by the City under Section 66.0703, Wisconsin Statutes, and under Chapter 10 of the St. Francis Municipal Code for pulverizing and asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete carriage walk, concrete driveway apron, total restoration and related work in the following locations within the City of St. Francis:
• South Kansas Avenue from East Norwich Avenue toward E Leroy Avenue;
• South Ellen Street from East St. Francis Avenue to City Limits;.
• East Eden Place from South Ellen Street to South Pennsylvania Avenue; and
• South Vermont Avenue from East Koenig Avenue to East Crawford Avenue.
The report of the City Engineer showing proposed plans and specifications, estimated cost of improvements and proposed assessments is on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer and may be inspected there on any business day between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
