PUBLIC NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION VIOLATIONS OF HEART OF THE VALLEY METROPOLITAN SEWERAGE DISTRICT PRETREATMENT PROGRAM Listed below are Industrial Users which were found in Significant Non-Compliance with their Wastewater Discharge Permit and the requirements of 40 CFR 403 (General Pretreatment Regulations) occurring in calendar year 2025. Industry Name: Safety Kleen Address: 552 Carter Ct Kimberly, WI 54136 Violation: Cobalt and Vanadium Violations occurred December 17th, 2025 exceeding the monthly limit for cobalt, with vandanium exceeding the daily and monthly limits. Both are violations are in the TRC ( Technical Review Criteria). Categorical limits and local limits are established and set forth inthe Pretreatment Permit by the Heart of the Valley Metropolitan Sewerage District. Actions Taken: A Significant Non-Compliance letter was sent to Safety Kleen personnel regarding this violation.
