BEFORE THE OAK CREEK COMMON COUNCIL
PURPOSE: The purpose of this public hearing is to consider a request for a Conditional Use Permit for a ground-mounted solar energy collection system at Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District, located at 8400 S. 5th Avenue.

Legal Description: That part of the South West Fractional One-quarter (S.W. Frac. ¼) of Section Thirteen (13) also known as Government Lot Three (3) in Town Five (5) North, Range numbered Twenty-two (22) East, in the City of Oak Creek, Milwaukee County, State of Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the North West corner of said Fractional One-Quarter (1/4) Section; thence North 88° 55' East along the North line of said Fractional One-Quarter (1/4) Section 1197.52 feet more or less to a point on the low watermark of Lake Michigan; thence S 6° 35' east along the low water mark of Lake Michigan, 1332.55 feet more or less to a point on the South line of said Government Lot Three (3) also known as the 1/8 line; thence South 88° 57' 30" West along the South line of said Government Lot Three (3), 1349.30 feet or less to a point in the West line of said Fractional One-Quarter (1/4) Section fence north along the West line of said Fractional One-Quarter (1/4) Section; 1325.65 feet more or less to the place of beginning, containing 38.745 acres of land, more or less, together with all riparian rights. Excluding therefrom the lands conveyed to Oak Creek in document numbers 4224355 and 4533269.
The Common Council has scheduled other public hearings for April 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM. This hearing may begin at 7:00 PM or as soon as possible following the conclusion of other public hearings.
