BOROUGH OF SPRING LAKE NOTICE TO BID LEASE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPRING LAKE PIER BEACH MOBILE FOOD CONCESSION TRUCK/TRAILER SPACE   The Borough of Spring Lake is soliciting bids for the lease of the Borough of Spring Lake Pier Beach, Mobile Food Concession Truck/Trailer Space located at the intersection of Brown and Ocean Avenues for the summer seasons of 2026, 2027, and 2028, with the option to renew for up to two (2) separate one-year terms for 2029 and 2030. The lease shall include electric and water/sewer facilities. Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent for the Borough of Spring Lake on April 1, 2026 at 1:00 pm prevailing time at 423 Warren Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762 at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public.   The concession area is on the west side of the boardwalk and includes the area of 40 feet North to South with approximately 30 feet of usable space on the east side of Ocean Avenue. The truck facility provided shall be a minimum of 24 feet x 8.5 feet and must be mobile, but may not exceed 30 feet x 10 feet. Interested concessionaires will be allowed to park and place their vehicle or mobile unit at said location.   The mobile concession stand shall be open seven days per week no sooner than 7:00 a.m. of each day and close no later than 6:00 p.m., unless permission has been granted by the Borough Administrator or designee. At a minimum, the concession shall operate the same hours as the Borough of Spring Lake Beach.   Any Bid Addenda will be issued on the Borough website and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:1123(c)(1). All interested bidders should check the website from now through bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.   Bid responses must be made on standard proposal forms, be enclosed in a sealed package bearing the name and address of the bidder and “Pier Beach Mobile Food Concession Truck/Trailer Space” on the outside, addressed to Lindsay Walker, Purchasing Agent, at 423 Warren Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762.
