All bids shall be itemized and all signatures must include the corporate position of the signer. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the day set for the opening of bids. By making a Bid, each Bidder represents that they have read and understands the Bidding Documents and their Bid is made in accordance therewith, they have visited the Project Site and familiarized themselves with the obstacles and conditions as they exist and as they will be encountered during the execution of the work, and their Bid is based on the Drawings and Specification and all terms and conditions as described in the Bidding Documents without exception. Bids shall be executed on State Form 96 and Supplementary Bid Form. Bids shall be accompanied by Contractor’s Financial Statement from the most recent completed year. A bid security in the form of AIA Document A310, a certified check, Indiana General Revised Form No. 96, “Contractors Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction” or a form from an acceptable surety shall accompany each bid. The bid security shall be in the penal amount of 5% of the total bid price and made payable to the Owner. The construction schedule and phasing are included in the Volume 1 Specifications. Questions will be accumulated and researched and answers will be distributed to all bidders with questions anonymously listed. Answers will be distributed via addendum.
