TOPIC OF HEARING:
VARIANCE CASE: VAR 2026-27
JM Davis, applicant, on behalf of Thomas Birney, Owner, is requesting a variance from the height standards of the Pender County Unified Development Ordinance. Specifically, the request is for a height increase for the reconstruction of a single-family residence that was previously lost due to a fire. Since the time of construction, the flood elevation requirements have increased, necessitating relief to rebuild the home that was lost. The subject property is zoned RP, Residential Performance, and is located at 108 Key Largo Drive. The parcel may be further identified by Pender County PIN 4224-77-8567-0000.
