Township of Woodbridge “NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION   PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Woodbridge is the owner of real property located at 380 Berry Street, a portion of which is more particularly described as Lot 32 within Block 551.01 (hereinafter the “Property”). The Property contains a parking lot and the Township of Woodbridge has determined that during certain hours, the Property is not needed for a public purpose. As such, the Township is willing to lease the shared use of twenty-five (25) spaces in the parking lot. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:12-14 et seq., the Township of Woodbridge will be offering the parking spaces referenced herein for lease through a public auction to be held at Woodbridge Town Hall, located at 1 Main Street, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095. The auction will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of Woodbridge Town Hall, located on the first floor at 1 Main Street, Woodbridge, New Jersey. Please note that the minimum bid for the use of the parking spaces is $100 per month, payable annually in advance. A lease will be provided to the successful bidder after the auction. The lease will contain, in addition to standard lease terms, the following terms and conditions:   • The successful bidder shall have the shared use of 25 parking spaces, Monday through Friday between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.   • Use of the entire parking lot on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.   • Overnight parking shall be prohibited. Any vehicle that remains in the parking lot beyond the permitted times is subject to being towed at the expense of the successful bidder.   • All users of the parking lot shall be assigned a key fob for entry into the parking lot, to be provided by the Township.   • The successful bidder shall not be permitted to charge a fee to anyone for the use of the Property.   • The successful bidder will be provided with a five (5) year lease, which may be renewed by mutual agreement of the parties for five (5) additional one-year periods.   The Township reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this auction for any reason or no reason.
