Professional Architectural/Engineering Services for Airport Road Essential
Personnel Safe Room – Phase I
By virtue of and in conformity with the provisions of Act 70 of the 1946 Regular Session of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended, and other applicable laws, sealed submissions will be received by the Lafourche Parish Government at the Lafourche Parish Office of the President, 402 Green Street, Thibodaux, LA 70301, on or before March 31, 2026, at 4:30pm CST at which time and date such statements of qualifications will be accepted for Professional Architectural/Engineering Services for Airport Road Essential Personnel Safe Room – Phase I.
Lafourche Parish has received FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funds to fund Phase I of its project to build a personnel safe room on Airport Road in Galliano, LA. The Parish of Lafourche is requesting written Statements of Qualification from experienced and qualified firms to perform Architectural/Engineering Services for this project. Should a firm be selected, the firm will be responsible for Phase I services including preparation of cost estimates and necessary associated studies for the project, completion of the architectural design with reproducible plan drawings, and any other administration and implementation of the architectural/engineering portion of this essential personnel safe room project deemed necessary. Selected firms will also be expected to consistently communicate all progress to Lafourche Parish Office of Grants and Economic Development and any designated grant management entity. All responses received will be evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria and corresponding point system that is identified in the request for qualifications. Lafourche Parish Government will award the contract to the respondent obtaining the highest score in the evaluation process.
