NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING THE CITY OF PEORIA, ILLINOIS
ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY PROJECT SUMMARY AND
PRELIMINARY ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS DETERMINATION
FOR THE COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW CONSENT DECREE MILESTONE #2 PROJECT

Notice is hereby given that the City of Peoria will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments on the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Project Plan and Preliminary Environmental Impacts Determination (PEID) for the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Consent Decree Milestone #2 Project (the Project). The Project is proposed to be funded with loans from the IEPA Water Pollution Control Loan Program. Public comments are sought regarding environmental impacts of the proposed Project. The Public Hearing will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the Peoria Public Library Main Branch located at 107 NE Monroe St, Peoria, IL 61602.
The Project Summary and PEID provided by the IEPA is available for public inspection at any time on the City's CSO website at PeoriaCSO.com or during regular business hours at the City of Peoria Department of Public Works, 3505 N Dries Lane, Peoria, IL 61604.
The Project includes offline storage, green infrastructure, and program management to achieve progress towards the City of Peoria's CSO control goals.
Any person wishing to comment on the PEID for the Project is welcome to attend the Public Hearing. This Notice is to provide access to the document and notification of the scheduled Public Hearing to satisfy Section 365.330 of the Illinois Procedures for Issuing Loans from the Water Pollution Control Loan Program of the IEPA.
