NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF (I) PUBLIC HEARING ON ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND (II) DETERMINATION TO ISSUE BONDS   Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of the redevelopment district of the City of Lafayette, Indiana (“Redevelopment District”), which Redevelopment District is a special taxing district of the City of Lafayette, Indiana (“City”), that the City of Lafayette Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette, Indiana 47901, at 11:00 a.m. local time on March 26, 2026 to conduct a public hearing and consider the appropriation of funds in an amount not to exceed $12,000,000 from proceeds of the “City of Lafayette, Indiana, Redevelopment District Bonds, Series 2026” (the “Bonds”), to be applied on the costs of (a) the reconstruction of South 9th Street and, if there are excess funds available, such funds may be applied to the Poland Hill road project, which projects are in, serving or benefitting the Twyckenham Economic Development Area, (b) the refunding of the outstanding City of Lafayette, Indiana Redevelopment District Bonds, Series 2014 for a debt service savings (if feasible), (c) capitalized interest, if necessary, (d) funding a reserve, if necessary, and (e) selling and issuing the Bonds (collectively, the “Financing”).   The foregoing appropriation is in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budgets and levies. Funds to cover said appropriation are to be provided from the proceeds of the Bonds. Taxpayers of the Redevelopment District appearing at the hearing shall have a right to be heard in respect of this additional appropriation.   Taxpayers of the Redevelopment District are hereby notified that the Redevelopment District has determined to issue the Bonds in accordance with Indiana Code 36-7-14, as amended, in the amount of not more than $12,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds for undertaking the Financing.   Dated this 26th day of February, 2026.   CITY OF LAFAYETTE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION 3/6, 3/13/2026         12126442
