Notice of Bids Town of Townsend (Pursuant to SS 60.47(2) & 66.29) The Town Board of the Town of Townsend is seeking sealed bids for 2026 on the following: INFRARED PATCHING ON PAVED ROADS: Bidder is to give cost per square patch for materials used. Patching to be done by August 28, 2026 PAVER LAID BITUMINOUS SURFACING, on various town roads. The bidder shall specify the following information on the bid form: Bid on hot mix only Tons (or cubic yards) per mile, 20 ft wide Unit price per ton (cubic yard) Total price per mile Separate bid on pulverizing per mile DOUBLE CHIPPING ON GRAVEL ROADS. Bidder to give cost per mile using 3/8 inch over 3/4 inch washed stone. Bidder to give separate cost per mile bid for 18ft and 20 ft road width. Bid shall include cost for shaping & compacting existing gravel road before application of chip seal. STREET SWEEP CURB & GUTTER, approx. 0.75 miles, to be completed by May 22, 2026.
