CLASS III LANDFILL –
PHASE 1 CLOSURE
ITB NO. 26-406/PA
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (AUTHORITY) requests interested parties to submit sealed Bids for performing all work in connection with the Class III Landfill – Phase 1 Closure in conjunction with the specifications within this solicitation.
The proposed work will be contracted to a Licensed Florida Contractor meeting the minimum Project Experience requirements and consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to perform the construction work as detailed in the solicitation documents.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to construction and installation of the leachate toe drain system (LTDS); installation of landfill gas (LFG) collection and control system; construction of final cover system on the Class III Landfill; and installation of a surface water management system.
CONTRACTOR shall cooperate and coordinate with work to be completed by others.
All work shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and shall be in compliance with all applicable codes.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST, at 7501 North Jog Road – Administration Building Auditorium, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33412, open to all interested parties, at which time Authority Staff will be present to answer questions and explain the intent of the Bid. A Community Exchange Roundtable networking event will take place after the Conference. Attendance is strongly encouraged. Site visit will follow.
The AUTHORITY only accepts bids and proposals electronically through Bonfire. Interested parties may obtain the Bid documents by downloading from the AUTHORITY’s website at www.swa.org or through Bonfire at https://swa.bonfirehub.com/ Bids must be received by the AUTHORITY no later than 2:00 pm EST time, April 9, 2026, through Bonfire. Please be advised that paper and emailed bid submittals will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted through Bonfire at the time and date specified.
