ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS For CITY OF FERNLEY (OWNER):   Sealed bids will be received by the City of Fernley Utilities Department, 595 Silver Lace Blvd., Fernley, Nevada 89408, until 1:00 PM local time (Pacific Time), March 26, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.   The contract consists of supplying the City with the Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) 12.5% Solution, Ferric Chloride (FeCI3) 40-42% Solution, Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) 20-25% Solution, Citric Acid 50% Solution. All chemicals provided for potable water treatment shall comply with ANSI/NSF Standards 60 and/or 61, as applicable. Certification documentation shall be provided upon request. Initial contract term shall begin upon award and extend through June 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed annually thereafter upon mutual written agreement.   Bids will be accepted on a bulk rate (i.e., $ per pound) basis. Bulk rate shall include any miscellaneous charges such as minimal hourly charges, travel charges and/or mobilization/demobilization charges. The bids shall be reviewed and selected based on the bulk rate and annual cost. Vendor shall be capable of routine scheduled deliveries and emergency deliveries within 48 hours of request. The City of Fernley is seeking a supplier for furnishing and delivery of water and wastewater treatment chemicals.
