NOTICE OF ADOPTION
RESOLUTIONS OF THE PLANNING BOARD OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, FINDING ORDINANCES NO. 25-06, 26-07, 26-08, 26-09, 26-10, AND 26-11 TO BE NOT INCONSISTENT WITH THE MASTER PLAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH N.J.S.A. 40:55D-26(a) AND -64
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2026, at a duly noticed and constituted public meeting, the Township Committee of the Township of Warren (the "Township Committee") introduced, on first reading, the following Ordinances;
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-06 REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTION 15-5.4 “DEVELOPMENT FEES TO FUND AFFORDABLE HOUSING” AND SECTION 16-6 “AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNIT REGULATIONS” OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY
ORDINANCE NO. 26-07 AMENDING CHAPTER 16 “ZONING” OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, TO CREATE A NEW AH-10 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DISTRICT (Block 75, Lot 1)
ORDINANCE NO. 26-08 AMENDING CHAPTER 16 “ZONING” OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, TO CREATE A NEW AH-11 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DISTRICT (Block 70.03, Lots 24, 25.01)
ORDINANCE NO. 26-09 AMENDING CHAPTER 16 “ZONING” OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, TO CREATE A NEW AH-12 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DISTRICT (Block 88.08, Lot 4)
ORDINANCE NO. 26-10 AMENDING CHAPTER 16 “ZONING”, SECTION 16-22A “AH-4 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DISTRICT” OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, TO REMOVE HOTEL AREA AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE DISTRICT AND PROVIDE FOR AGE RESTRICTED INCLUSIONARY HOUSING (Block 85.01, Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4)
ORDINANCE NO. 26-11 AMENDING CHAPTER 16 “ZONING” OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, TO CREATE A NEW AH-9 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DISTRICT (Block 82, Lot 12.02)
WHEREAS, after introduction, the Township Committee referred Ordinances No. 25-06, 26-07, 26-08, 26-09, 26-10, and 26-11 to the Planning Board of the Township of Warren ("Board") for Master Plan consistency review pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-26(a) and N.J.S.A. 40:55D-64; and
WHEREAS, on February 25, 2026, at a duly noticed and constituted public meeting, the Planning Board considered the advice of the Township Planner and Township Engineer and determined that Ordinances No. 25-06, 26-07, 26-08, 26-09, 26-10, and 26-11 are not inconsistent with the Township’s Master Plan;
