Definitions, and § 300-3.2 Accessory Uses
The Upton Planning Board will hold a public hearing in Town Hall room G07 and remotely via Teams on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, on the following:
7:30 pm Application for Site Plan Approval titled “Proposed Site Plan of 3 Centennial Ct” to construct five connected garden-style studio apartments. Filed by applicant, Crandon Realty Trust, and owner, Matt Connell (Trustee) of Crandon Realty Trust. Property is 0.32 acres located at 3 Centennial Court in Upton, MA. Assessor’s Map 203/Lot 047.
7:40 pm To amend the Town of Upton Zoning-Bylaws, Section 300-10.1 Definitions and Section 300-3.2 Accessory Uses and Structures to incorporate “Small-Scale Solar Energy Systems” as a new use to be allowed by Site Plan Approval and to impose reasonable restrictions on such installations.
7:45 pm To amend the Town of Upton Zoning-Bylaws, Section 300-7.6 Accessory Dwelling Units to outline the conditions for the grandfathering of otherwise nonconforming units.
Copies of the applications will be available for review at: https://www.uptonma.gov/437/Planning-Board. Materials are also available at both the Town Clerk’s office and the Land Use and Inspectional Services office located in Town Hall. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on this application should attend the meeting either in-person or virtually at the designated date & time. Information about remote meeting participation will be available on the agenda to be posted on the Upton website (www.uptonma.gov) prior to the meeting.
