Please take notice that on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at Town Hall located at 367 Valley Brook Avenue, Lyndhurst, New Jersey, a public hearing will be held before the Lyndhurst Board of Adjustment in connection with an application for a use variance to expand the existing nonconforming two family dwelling located at 230 New Street, Block 133, Lot 9, Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
The applicant, AK Real Estate Development, LLC, is requesting permission to construct a second-floor addition to increase the size of the apartments which property is located in a RA zone. This use is not permitted in this zone under Township Ordinance No. 2067. The applicant will also request a variance for the existing side yard setbacks, existing impervious lot coverage, existing lot coverage and any other variance as required by the Board.
This notice is being published pursuant to the requirements of the Municipal Land Use Act and the Township Ordinances. The public notice is posted on the official website of the Township of Lyndhurst at: https://www.lyndhurstnj.org/pages/legal-ads.
The application and related documents are available for public inspection Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Building Department located at 253 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, New Jersey 07071.
