NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Oklahoma Cotton Council ("Applicant") has filed an Application with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission ("the Commission") for an Order Modifying Commission Order No.199421 and Authorizing an Increase in Rates cotton gins operating in Oklahoma may charge for the Ginning of Cotton to $2.75/cwt (currently $2.00/cwt), and an Increase in Rates cotton gins operating in Oklahoma may charge for the Bagging and Tying of Cotton to $10.00/bale (currently $7.50/bale). Applicant seeks to have the requested Order in effect as of July 31, 2026.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Hearing on the Merits ("Hearing") will be heard for an Administrative Law Judge commencing on April 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., and continuing each business day thereafter until the Hearing concludes in the Concourse Theater, Suite C50, located in the underground tunnel between Will Rogers Memorial Office Building and the Sequoyah Memorial Office Building, 2401 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Commission shall, after the Hearing on the Merits and the taking of evidence, issue such Order(s) and grant such relief as it deems reasonable, fair, necessary, proper, and equitable under the circumstances, whether or not specifically requested.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that members of the public will have an opportunity to provide comments on April 28, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m., in the Concourse Theater, Suite C50, located in the underground tunnel between Will Rogers Memorial Office Building and the Sequoyah Memorial Office Building, 2401 North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Members of the public may also provide written comments by mail to P.O. Box 171, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73101-9918 or by email to PUDenergy@occ.ok.og with "Attention: Public Comment PUD 2025-000080" in the subject line. Public comments may be submitted using the Corporation Commission's online form found on their website. All interested persons may appear at the hearing and be heard or may provide written comments.
