INVITATION FOR BIDS   2026 BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP ROAD REPAIR PROJECT   BY THE ORDER OF THE BOARD OF BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES, Stark County, Ohio: Sealed bids addressed to the Bethlehem Township Board of Trustees, Stark County Ohio for our 2026 Road Repair Project. PROJECT A: Hensel St SW from Blough Ave SW, west to St Rt 21. This is funded through an Ohio Public Works Grant. It includes replacement of three (3) culverts, paving and berm material. This project needs completed between June 15, 2026 and August 15, 2026 due to school busing and farm equipment needing to us this road. PROJECT B: Includes Kemary Ave SW Navarre, OH 44662 from Fohl Rd SW south to Hudson Dr SW, Kemary Ave SW from Hudson Dr SW to the dead end, Florance Ave SW south to the dead end and Werstler Ave SW north to the dead end. Bids will be received by the Bethlehem Township Trustees at PO Box 161 Navarre, OH 44662 if mailed, emailed to bethtwp@hotmail.com, or hand delivered to the Fiscal Officer at 7885 Rockville Rd SW Navarre, OH 44662 by 4:00 pm local time, on April 6, 2026. The Township is not responsible if documents are received after the bid receipt deadline. Specifications may be obtained from the Bethlehem Township Fiscal Officer by calling 330-756-2806 or emailing bethtwp@hotmail.com. The above designed work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, material, appurtenances and incidentals required for the construction of the road project and other incidental items necessary for a complete project all in accordance with specifications prepared by the Bethlehem Township Trustees. Each bid shall be in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, if mailed or hand delivered. All bids received shall be upon the forms furnished with the specifications, shall contain the full name of each person, agency/company, submitting the bid, and shall be signed by an official authorized to execute a contract. Bid envelope subject line must be plainly marked: 2026 BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP ROAD REPAIR PROJECT: All contractors and sub-contractors involved with this project, will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The Bethlehem Township Trustees declare that they will award the contract for this project to the lowest and best bid, which may not necessarily be the lowest bid. No single factor will control the Board’s decision to award, and the Board reserves the right to exercise its full discretion.
