ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS  The Supervisors of Harborcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania will receive bids for the Harborcreek Township 2026 Paving Project No. 1 until 9:00 A.M., prevailing time, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Harborcreek Township Municipal Building, 5601 Buffalo Road, Harborcreek, PA 16421, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The proposed work will consist of the milling and asphalt paving of approximately 3,200 feet of two lane roadway on South Shore Drive North and South, Micah Drive, Walten Creek Drive and Walten Point. Asphalt paving must be completed in a single pass without a centerline longitudinal joint or seam when feasible. Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the office of the Harborcreek Township Supervisors. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained by submitting a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to Harborcreek Township for each set of contract documents so obtained or by calling (814) 899-3171. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
