PUBLIC NOTICE   Montgomery Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) Public Meetings Announcement   The Montgomery Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) announces that a meeting will be held to consider business items as stated: Amendments to the Fiscal Years (FY) 2024-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), Consider For Approval the Final Draft of the Updated MPO Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan, Status on Existing Transportation Infrastructure Projects, and discuss other business items as needed. The following meetings are scheduled during the month of March 2026:   Metropolitan Planning Organization—The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is the policy board of locally elected and appointed officials responsible for approving transportation projects, plans, programs and setting transportation policy in the transportation study area in portions of Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga Counties and municipalities within each county. The MPO will meet on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in person.   Technical Advisory Committee—The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is comprised of engineering, planning, and technical professionals from local area agencies who advise the MPO on the feasibility and technical aspects of proposed transportation projects, plans and programs. The TAC will meet on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in person.   Citizens Advisory Committee—The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), the organized forum for local citizens involved in the transportation planning process, also advises the MPO from a citizens’ perspective. The CAC will meet on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 2:00 in person.   The Meeting Location for all meetings will be held at the location listed below.   The MPO, TAC and CAC Meetings Will Be Held at the City of Montgomery Intermodal Transportation Center Located at 495 Molton Street, Montgomery, AL 36104 in the Conference Room.   All meeting materials will be posted on the Montgomery MPO website in advance of all meetings.   For more information about proposed transportation projects or plans call Mr. C.T.
