NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS BID #2526-10 The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing materials for the: RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN INSTALLATION This project includes the installation of a raw water transmission main on Highway 71 and Volunteer Ave. The project will consist of approximately 21,000 LF of 12" PVC pipe, 14" HDPE pipe to be used when crossing under existing roadway, and various Ductile Iron fittings. The project will begin at the newly constructed wellfield and connect to the existing White City Water Treatment Plant. The materials will be provided by Gulf County. Completion date for this project will be 230 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $2,667.00 per day. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners held in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida on April 28, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Bids may be submitted electronically through the County's online bidding platform at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/SignIn?redirect=/Category/10885/GulfCounty. Electronic bids must be received by the system prior to the bid deadline. The time recorded by the system shall be the official time of receipt. Late submissions will not be accepted. Paper sealed bids may also be submitted to the Clerk's Office as described above.
