Preliminary Engineering Report
Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that City of South Bend, Indiana will hold a public hearing at 9:30 A.M. on March 24, 2026, in the Board of Public Works Conference Room, 215 S Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601 for a State Revolving Fund Loan Application for a Drinking Water Improvement project.

The City of South Bend's engineering staff will present the recommended project for on-going efforts towards a lead service line replacement program.
The project will be funded through a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan, if accepted, and City capital funds.
Copies of the required Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) are available for public viewing starting March 24, 2026, through April 24, 2026, at the City of South Bend Public Works Office, 215 S Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
There will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public at this meeting. Written comments from the public will be accepted through April 24, 2026. Your participation is welcomed and encouraged. If you require will special assistance at the meeting, please contact (574) 235-9251.
