NOTICE TO BIDDERS  SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Palmyra Township Board of Supervisors until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2025 at the Palmyra Township Municipal Center, 115 Buehler Lane, Paupack, PA 18451 for the following work:  2026 Paving Project:  2,067 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, Scratch/Leveling Course, 0.0-0.3 million ESAL's, 120lbs/SY 3,101 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, PG 64-22 Wearing Course, 180 LB/SY/1.5" in place.  11,925 LF of 4" Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads. 23,850 LF of 4" Single White Edge Line with Glass Beads.  All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class "F" Bituminous Paving.  Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. For further information or to schedule a road inspection, contact Kenneth Coutts at 570-470-7576.  All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount often (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Palmyra Township.  The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract.  The bids will be presented to the Palmyra Township Board of Supervisors at the scheduled regular meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at which time they will be considered, and the contract may be awarded.  The Palmyra Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and/or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.  All work must be completed by October 31, 2026, liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $875 per day for each day beyond this date that the work remains incomplete.  PA Prevailing Wages will apply to this contract.  Palmyra Township Board of Supervisors 115 Buehler Lane Paupack, PA 18451 12119860
