ORDINANCE 26-034
An Ordinance to amend Chapter 6-1 of the Municipal Code of the City of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, regulating Fermented Malt Beverages and Intoxicating Liquors, and Chapter 7-1-13 of the Municipal Code regulating Parks
The City Council of the City of Two Rivers has adopted an ordinance amending sections of the Municipal Code related to alcohol beverage licensing and city parks. The ordinance clarifies that a license is required to sell or distribute intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverages within the city, except where otherwise permitted by law. It also establishes a May 1 deadline for the renewal of alcohol beverage licenses, with late fees assessed for applications submitted after that date. In addition, the ordinance allows City personnel to sell fermented malt beverages in City parks, when authorized by the Chief of Police and the Director of Parks and Recreation, without requiring a municipal retail license.
