Joint Base Cape Cod Cleanup Team (JBCCCT) to meet online 6–8 p.m., March 25, 2026
The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) and the Impact Area Groundwater Study Program (IAGWSP) at Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) will host an online public meeting of the JBCCCT on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, 6–8 p.m. Representatives from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection will attend.
The agenda items are: Community involvement discussion; AFCEC per– and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) investigations including an Interim Remedial Action (IRA) near Ashumet Pond to address PFAS and phosphorus in groundwater; AFCEC Military Munitions Response Program update; and a 12-month "look-ahead" for both cleanup programs.
