PUBLIC NOTICE
The Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. (AAA7), headquartered at Jackson, Ohio, will be accepting bid proposals for the use of the following funds for service provision to older Americans (age 60+) in the ten-county area consisting of Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton.
• Older American’s Act (Subpart Title III-B) for the provision of social services:
1) Personal Care
2) Homemaker
3) Adult Day Service
4) Transportation
5) Legal Assistance
• Older American’s Act (Subpart Title III-C) for the provision of nutrition services:
1) Congregate Meals
2) Home-Delivered Meals
• Older American’s Act (Subpart Title III-D) for the provision of preventative health services, including:
1) A Matter of Balance
2) Tai-Chi
3) Bingocize
4) Stepping On
• Older American’s Act (Subpart Title III-E) for the provision of caregiver services:
1) Caregiver Counseling
2) Caregiver Training
Proposals must be submitted by county and may include any or all services listed herein and may be to serve a portion or all of the county(s) involved. Proposals will be for the years beginning January 1, 2027 and ending December 31, 2030 (four years). All funds are paid per unit of service.
There will be a VIRTUAL MANDATORY Bidder’s Conference held Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The RFP packet will be reviewed and technical assistance questions will be answered. Interested organizations can obtain RFP information/documents and Bidder’s Conference registration information by accessing the AAA7 website (www.aaa7.org) on or after March 23, 2026.
