NOTICE INVITING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) Silver Valley Unified School District RFP No. 20260110-01 – Procurement of Chromebooks NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Silver Valley Unified School District ("District"), pursuant to its Administrative Regulation on Alternative Bid Procedures for Technological Supplies and Equipment and California Public Contract Code § 20118.2, invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the supply of approximately 1,200 Chromebook devices (including power supplies, warranties, and ongoing support services) for student use in K-12 educational environments. The estimated total budget is $400,000 (including tax, fees, etc.; quantities are estimates and subject to funding availability). This procurement utilizes competitive negotiation for computers and related electronic equipment/apparatus, considering factors beyond price such as performance reliability, life-cycle costs, standardization, delivery timelines, support logistics, durability, manufacturer warranties, and fitness for integration with Google Workspace for Education. Proposals must be received no later than April 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM PST (any proposal received after this deadline will be rejected).
