PUBLIC NOTICE     “2026 Seal Coat Project” on Various Roads in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania Single Bituminous Seal Coat as per Penn DOT Pub 408 Section 470 Type II Slurry Seal as per Penn DOT Pub 408 Section 482 4” Double Yellow Center Line w/Glass Beads All Materials must meet PENNDOT Pub 408. Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by Tunkhannock. Proposals shall be marked “2026 Seal Coat Project.” Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Tunkhannock Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Byron Witt, Road Master, at 570-872-3012, Monday – Friday 7:00 Am to 3:30 PM. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Tunkhannock Township. The successful bidder is required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be open and read publicly at 4:00 PM on April 1, 2026, at the Township Building and, pending review, awarded at the Board of Supervisors Meeting at approximately 7:00 PM on April 8, 2026.
