NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bidding proposals will be received at the Office of the Board of Crawford County Commissioners, 112 East Mansfield Street, Suite 304, Bucyrus, Ohio, 44820, until 10:00 A.M. local time, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at which time and place said proposals will be publicly opened and read for the resurfacing of the following roads in Crawford County, Ohio, totaling approximately 3.77 miles: Lincoln Hwy. (CR 330) (2.91 mi. x 24.0 ft.)                                         (0.86 mi. x 30.0 ft.) The work for which proposals are invited will consist of resurfacing the roadway with 1.75” of Asphalt Concrete, Item 441 (448); Tack Coat, Item 407; Traffic Paint, Item 642; and the milling of existing paved shoulders, Item 254, as per specifications of Contract No. CC01 (2026). Date set for completion: July 31, 2026 Plans, specifications, and proposal forms are on file in the Office of the Crawford County Engineer and are available for inspection. Contract documents may be obtained at said office M-F 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. or online anytime under the “Bid Documents” section of the Engineer’s Office website (www.crawfordcountyengineer.com). All proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid or a bond for the full amount of the bid, payable to the Crawford County Commissioners in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Prevailing wage rates for this project have been predetermined by law and are set forth on the Ohio Department of Commerce’s website. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, or to accept any proposal that is deemed most favorable to Crawford County.
