Invitation for Filed Sub-Bids #2026-01 – Culinary Classroom and Bake Shop Renovation   The Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District (BVT) is soliciting filed sub-bids for BVT Job No. 2026-01 Culinary Classroom and Bake Shop Renovation. Sealed sub-bids will be received by the Business Office at Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District, 65 Pleasant Street, Upton, MA 01568 on or before 10:00 a.m., on Thursday April 2, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read out loud in the Superintendent’s Conference Room.   Filed Sub-Bid Opening – Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The project is in accordance with the documents prepared by Sorensen Partners Architects & Planners, Inc. Filed sub-bids will be taken for Division 22 – Plumbing portion only. Each filed sub-bidder must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in their listed trade and shall include a Current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Update Statement with the filed sub-bid. The work consists of, but is not limited to: • Selective demolition of existing plumbing systems within the Culinary Arts and Bake Shop renovation areas. • Installation and modification of water, sewer, vent, and gas piping systems for upgrade of kitchen equipment in the locations indicated in the drawings and specifications. • All other plumbing work noted in the specifications and drawings.   Mandatory Pre-Sub-Bid Conference – Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. A mandatory pre-sub-bid conference will be held for all interested sub-bidders, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School located at 65 Pleasant Street, Upton, MA 01568. All visitors must check in at the front entrance kiosk. Failure to attend or visit the premises shall be no defense in failure to perform contract terms. Filed sub-bid forms and contract documents may be obtained on or after Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at no cost, through Public Purchase, a web-based e-Procurement service.
