PUBLIC NOTICE   Sealed Bids for Camp Minden Forest Products Sale 0426, Camp Minden, Minden, Louisiana will be received until 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Building 1472 Conference Room, 100 Louisiana Boulevard, Camp Minden, Minden, Louisiana. All properly submitted bids will be opened at that time and the bid amounts publically announced. Bidders and/or their representatives are encouraged to attend the Bid Opening.   Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained without charge by requesting via email at Christopher.L.Robinett4.nfg@army.mil, via mail, or in person at Louisiana Military Department, Camp Minden, ATTN: Forestry Program Manager (Building 1472), 100 Louisiana Boulevard, Minden, LA 71055-7908 or via telephone at 318-382-4158.   The sale consists of Pine and Hardwood Forest Products located on Four (4) compartments belonging to the Louisiana Military Department which are described as follows:   Description of Sale: The forest products in Item #1, Compartment #3 & L-4 (Thinning) stands on 100 acres, more or less and Item #2, Compartment #27 & 36 (Clear-cut and Thinning) stands on 175 acres, more or less. Items #1and #2 are located in Bossier and Webster Parish.   All bids shall be accompanied by bid deposit/advance payment of $20,000.00 for Item #1 and $40,000.00 for Item #2. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Invitation to Bid Packet for this project.   Any person requiring special accommodation shall notify the Forestry Program Manager at 318-382-4158 not less than seven (7) days before the bid opening.   The Louisiana Military Department reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids. The provisions and requirements of those stated in the advertisement for bids and those required on the bid form shall not be waivered. The Louisiana Military Department Director for Contracting and Purchasing and the Louisiana Deputy Director do not possess authority to waive any informality incidental thereto.
