NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CITY OF DES MOINES RECOMMENDED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PLAN Notice is hereby given that the City of Des Moines has submitted a revised recommended Capital Improvement Program Plan which includes the Capital Improvement Plans for fiscal years 2026-2027 through 2029-2030 and includes Capital Improvement Budgets for fiscal year 2025-2026, as amended. Copies of the Capital Improvement Program Plan will be made available for distribution and pickup at the City Hall offices of the Mayor and City Clerk, and at the City libraries. Notice is further given that the City Council will consider adoption of the recommended Capital Improvement Program Plan after a public hearing to be held at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 1200 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa on April 6, 2026. Residents and taxpayers of the City will be given the opportunity to express their views, comments, objections and arguments in favor at that hearing. Any resident or taxpayer desiring to submit written views, comments, objections and arguments in favor may direct such written material to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1200 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa, 50309, or by e-mailing: cityclerk@dmgov.org prior to 3:00 p.m. on April 6, 2026.
