ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for constructing the Andy Romano Beachfront Park Shade Structures Replacement, Bid No. 2026-22 for the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Coordinator, City Hall, Ormond Beach, Florida, until Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 3:00 pm, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Training Room located in the breezeway between City Hall and the Public Library. Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened.
The work consists of: A turn-key project to design, supply materials, deliver and install the five (5) replacement shade structures, including required permitting. The structures shall meet all current standards and certifications. The structures are to replace the existing structures in the same locations. The dimensions of the areas shown on the original plans for the structures are provided for planning and design purposes, vendors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of these measurements and for ensuring that any structures proposed will fit the existing shades and actual site dimensions.
The work is specified in the Project Manual. A pre-bid conference to discuss the details and requirements of the contract will be held on Tuesday April 21, 2026 at 11:00 am, in the Training Room at City Hall. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The deadline for submitting questions is Tuesday April 28, 2026 at 4:00 pm.
