MARION MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. (local time), Thursday, April 9, 2026, and then publicly opened and read in the City Hall, Mayor's Conference Room, 233 W. Center St., Marion, OH, 43302, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary for TAXIWAY C REHABILITATION, at Marion Municipal Airport.
This work includes, but is not limited to, full depth crack repair, crack sealing and a sealcoat of Taxiway C. A complete set of Bid Documents may be obtained online at

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held Friday March 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Airport Terminal Building.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount stated and payable to the order of the Owner. The Bid security shall be in the form of either A. A Bid Bond for the full amount of the Bid issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Ohio, or B. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit. Letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Owner. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10%) percent of the bid.
Bids may be held by the City of Marion for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
The right is reserved, as the City of Marion may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received.
The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, apply to this contract. It is the policy of the City of Marion to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this contract.
This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the US Department of Labor.
Award of contract is also subject to the following Federal provisions: Government-wide Debarment and Suspension. Foreign Trade Restriction — 49 CFR Part 30. Buy American Preferences — Aviation Safety and Capacity Act of 1990. Affirmative Action — 41 CFR Part 60-4. Government-wide Drug-free Workplace.
