Fort Shaw Irrigation District Simms Creek Siphon Replacement Project Invitation to Bid Bids for the Simms Creek Siphon Replacement Project will be received at the Sun River Valley Community Center at 13319 MT-200, Fort Shaw, MT 59443, until 3:00 p.m. local time on April 21, 2026 , at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening will also be available via virtual platform as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders section of the bid documents. Project Description The project consists of the replacement of the existing Simms Creek Siphon, including but not limited to demolition of existing cast-in-place concrete siphon; installation of a new siphon pipeline; construction of concrete inlet and outlet structures; associated earthwork; and restoration of disturbed areas. Three bid alternatives will be evaluated including a single barrel 72" steel pipe, dual 54" DR21 HDPE pipe, and dual 63" DR21 HDPE pipe. Pre-Bid Conference A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Fort Shaw Irrigation District Office at 5 North Fort Shaw Road, Fort Shaw, MT 59443 .
