NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Richmond Community Schools (“RCS”) will receive bids to purchase seven hundred (700) Student Chromebooks in the Lobby Board Room located in the RCS Administration Building, 300 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana, on the 10th day of April, 2026 at 2:00 o’clock P.M., prevailing local time. Bids received during the bid opening meeting will be logged in with time of receipt, opened and publicly read aloud and held by RCS for processing as required by law. All bids must be filed on Indiana SBOA Form 96 (or a similarly formatted document) and accompanied by a fully completed Non-collusion Affidavit properly signed and executed by an officer or authorized representative of the bidder. Bids should be placed in a separate outer envelope or covering and labeled “Richmond Community School Chromebook Bid”, submitted to Alexander Hazelbaker Director of Technology, at the Administration Building, 300 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana 47374. Each bidder shall submit either a surety bond issued by a surety authorized to transact business in the State of Indiana and reasonably acceptable to RCS, or a money order, cashier’s check or certified check in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to Richmond Community Schools to secure the school corporation that if awarded the contract, the bidder will duly enter into the contract and perform its contractual obligations in substantial conformity with the contract specifications. Facsimile delivered bid forms will not be accepted. All bids must be made in compliance with the laws governing such matters. The RCS Board of School Trustees reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in the bidding, to reject any or all bids or to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid, not necessarily the low bid. Detailed specifications and bidding procedures for bidders may be picked up at the School Administration Building starting during regular business hours after Thursday March 19th, at 300 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana.
