FORFEITURE/SEIZURE
Notice is hereby given of seizure of a 2011 DODGE CHALLENGER, TENNESSEE TAG NUMBER BVQ4167, VIN: 2B3CJ4DG6BH513780 AND A DODGE KEY FOB AND A GLOCK 23 GEN 5 FIREARM S/N: CCPL141 AND A GLOCK MAGAZINE AND (21) ROUNDS OF .40 CALIBER AMMUNITION AND (3) IPHONES AND (1) IPHONE CASE AND (1) NIKE BAG AND (1) DIGITAL SCLAE AND DRUG PACKAGING MATERIALS AND 12.6 OUNCES OF MARIJUANA AND (1) OXYCODONE PILL on FEBRUARY 12, 2026 at HARLEM GROVETOWN ROAD AT DARWOOD DRVIE, GROVETOWN, GEORGIA by members of the GROVETOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT. The seized property was directly or indirectly used or intended for use to facilitate the transport and distribution of illegal controlled substances in violation of O.C.G.GA 16-13-30 and/or is proceeds derived or realized therefrom and/or was found in close proximity to the illegal controlled substances and/or other property which is subject to forfeiture pursuant to the provisions O.C.G.A. §9-16-11.
Any owner or interest holder may file a claim within 30 days after receipt of this notice or, when notice is provided by publication, within 30 days after the second publication, whichever comes last. Claim must be submitted in the manner required by law to Natalie Paine, Acting District Attorney, Columbia Judicial Circuit, P.O. BOX 380, Evans, Georgia 30809 by certified mail, return receipt requested or statutory overnight delivery. Any such claim shall be signed by the owner or interest holder and shall provide the following 1) The name of the claimant; 2) The address at which the claimant resides; 3) A description of the claimant’s interest in the property; 4) A description of the circumstances of the claimant’s obtaining an interest in the property and, to the best of the claimant’s knowledge, the date the claimant obtained the interest and name of the person or entity that transferred the interest to the claimant; 5) The nature of the relationship between the claimant and the person who possessed the property at the time of the seizure; 6) A copy of any documentation in the claimant’s possession supporting his or her claim; and 7) Any additional facts supporting his or her claim.
