The February 2026 Price Index for PennDOT District 8 is $598.00. Notice is hereby given to bidders that MS-944 is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. A Bid Bond, by acceptable surety, or a certified check made payable to Dover Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid, must be deposited by each bidder with the bid. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety) as specified in the Contract. All proposals must be upon PennDOT forms. Plans and contract documents are available at no cost on PennBid. Dover Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make an award which is in the best interest of the Township.
