DURHAM TOWNSHIP BUCKS COUNTY, PA   NOTICE TO BIDDERS   Sealed Proposals will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Durham Township, a Second-Class Township of Bucks County, PA, at the Durham Township Municipal Building, located at 215 Old Furnace Road, PO Box 4, Durham, PA 18039, up to 10 am on Friday, April 10th, 2026, for the following project.   1. County Line Road - Durham Road to Township Line (6,697 SY)   2. Spring Hill East - Stouts Valley FB Modified Leveling and (1980 SY)   Application of a Double Seal Coat using #8 aggregate for both applications, complete in-place utilizing CRS-2P and in accordance with PennDOT PUB 408 Section 480 on County Line and Spring Hill   The contractor is responsible for traffic control during all phases of construction. Contractor shall notify residents in a manner acceptable to the Municipality a minimum of 2 days before each phase of construction. Bid to be awarded based on the total of all items to the lowest responsible bidder. Prevailing wage rates apply.   The sealed bids will be publicly opened on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the Durham Township Office, 215 Old Furnace Rd, Durham, PA. The Project will be awarded at a monthly public business meeting of the Durham Township Board of Supervisors within 60 days. All proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township. Forms are available at the Township Building during normal business hours (M-F 8 am to Noon). The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to award the contract in the best interest of Durham Township. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Durham Township. A performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract (or similar financial security) shall be furnished by the successful bidder to the Township within 20 days after the contract is awarded.   Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870 per calendar day.
