ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   DURHAM TOWNSHIP BUCKS COUNTY, PA NOTICE TO BIDDERS   Sealed bids will be received by Durham Township at the Durham Township Municipal Building, 215 Old Furnace Road, P.O. Box 4, Durham, PA 18039, up to 10 AM, prevailing time, on Friday, April 10, 2026, for the following:   Used Mini Excavator, operating weight of 10,000 lbs. or less. Open ROPS mechanical thumb and auxiliary hydraulic ports. Examples not limited to KX040-JCB35Z-JD35G. Under 1000 hours in excellent operating condition.   The sealed bids will be publicly opened on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Township Building. Starting Mon-day, March 23rd, 2026, the bid packet for this Contract will be available for free at the Township Building. Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township and must be submitted unconditionally. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a performance bond in the amount of 10 percent of the Contract Price. The Contract for this purchase will be awarded at a monthly public business meeting of the Durham Township Board of Supervisors within 60 days of bid opening. Prior to awarding the Contract, bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the Contract, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids, exercise its judgment as to the comparative merit of the products offered, and to award the Contract in the best interest of Durham Township.
