PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hendersonville City Council will hold three public hearings on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 5:45 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible in the City Operations Assembly Room located at 305 Williams Street, Hendersonville NC to consider the following:
I. Conditional Zoning District – Osceola Lake Inn Redevelopment (25-102-CZD) – Application for a Conditional Zoning District from BL Corp of NC and Fiona McColley and Osceola Lake Cottages, LLC to rezone approximately 4.87 acres at 159 Osceola Lake Road (PIN 9568-31-5964) and 106 Vance Street (PIN 9568-32-5201) from R-15 CZD and R-15 (Medium Density Residential) to R-10-CZD (Medium Density Residential - Conditional Zoning District). The proposed development includes a hotel, restaurant, event center, and 14 residences.
II. Conditional Zoning District – 109 Florence Street (26-13-CZD) - Application for a Conditional Zoning District from Alsco Inc (Alan Sowers) and Grace Blue Ridge Church PCA Incorporated to rezone approximately 1.72 acres at 109 Florence Street (PIN 9578-21-5868) from C-2 CZD to C-2 CZD. The proposed development consists of an existing church and a laundry service (storage only) and loading dock.
III. Conditional Zoning District – Laurel Meadows – (26-14-CZD) - Application for a Conditional Zoning District from Woda Cooper Companies, Inc., applicant. The applicant is requesting to rezone the subject property, (PINs 9579-45-0556 and 9579-45-2846) and located at Mitchelle Drive from C-3, Highway Business to UR-CZD (Urban Residential - Conditional Zoning District) for the development of 77 multi-family units. The subject property is approximately 3.32 acres.
Digital/written public hearing comments must be received twenty-four hours prior to the meeting (by 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1st 2026) to be considered by the City Council and must comply with security criteria in the Council’s Public Comment Policy, available on the City’s website.
Public hearing comments will also be accepted during the meeting from those attending in person and from those participating live via ZOOM at the designated time at this meeting. For security reasons screen sharing will not be allowed. Anyone wishing to submit written/digital public hearing comments for these public hearings prior to the meeting may visit https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/comment to submit their comment. It is not necessary to submit digital comments if you are planning to address City Council during the meeting.
