Bids for the equipment listed below only will be received until Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. EST and publicly opened, forthwith online.
Request for interpretation or clarification of the RFB shall be made in writing and received at wlynch@chasolutions.com on or before March 18, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. EST and will be responded to on or before March 20, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. EST
Bids from suppliers will be required and taken for the following classes of work:
1. Early Bid Package Equipment
Items are shown in the Civitects drawing set dated January 8, 2026, identified by clouded bubbles.
All Bids must be combined into one submission file in PDF format and submitted electronically online at Home – BidDocs and received no later than the date and time specified above.
Please include estimated lead times with bids.
Submissions received after the time and date established herein this notice shall not be accepted or considered, regardless of the cause of delay in the receipt of the submission. Submissions shall not be emailed, mailed, or faxed.
Any Addenda for this project will be posted on BidDocs Online. It is the responsibility of bid document holders to check and download any Addenda prior to submitting Bids.
Bids are to be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to the Mendon-Upton Regional School District.
The Trade Contractor Bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of their total bid, and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of their total bid.
Attention is directed to the fact that no less than the minimum wages as set forth in Document 00 43 43 Prevailing Wage Rates of the Contract Documents must be paid on this Project and that no sales tax shall be included in their bids. Bids shall be made on the basis of the Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, Pursuant to the Provisions of Chapter 30B, Sections 1 through 22, inclusive, of the Massachusetts General Laws. All bids shall remain in effect
for sixty (60) days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of Bids.
The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all Bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. Bids do not represent the Bid of a person competent to perform the Work as specified or that less than three (3) such bids were received. (M.G.L. c. 30B, §§ 1–22).
