PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE STARK AREA REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY’S INTENT TO FILE A 2026 PROGRAM OF PROJECTS AND OFFERING AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT Notice is hereby given that the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) intends to apply for Federal Funds for the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority’s 2026 Program of Projects. Information on the Program is available at SARTA’s website www.sartaonline .com/financials. Written public comment on the proposed Program of Projects will be accepted by the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) until the close of business on March 30th, 2025. All comments shall be addressed to Ralph O. Lee, Executive Director, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority, 1600 Gateway Blvd SE, Canton, Ohio 44707. Comments received by the closing date will be considered in preparing and carrying out the Program. A public hearing is scheduled for April 16th 2026 at 2 – 2:30 pm. in the Board Room at SARTA’s headquarters located at 1600 Gateway Blvd SE in Canton. This program will become final and will be submitted to the Federal Transit Administration upon completion of the public participation process unless amended by action of the Board of Trustees of the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority.
