TURNER AVENUE TRAILHEAD GAZEBO PROJECT
General Notice
City of Cambridge (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Project # 26-03 – Turner Avenue Trailhead Gazebo Project
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Administration Building located at 814 Wheeling Avenue, until April 15, 2026 at 10:30 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following work:
This project will consist of the construction of a 24-foot octagonal shaped gazebo that is installed on a cantilever foundation located on the south end of the Turner Avenue Trailhead of the Great Guernsey Trail in Cambridge, Ohio. Additionally, there will be approximately 158 linear feet of decorative cement wall that will connect the Southgate Bridge to the gazebo. Associated electrical work, concrete sidewalks, and concrete aprons are to be installed around the gazebo.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Project # 26-03 – Turner Avenue Trailhead Gazebo Project
Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $230,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 120 calendar days.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office for the Bidding Documents is located at:
City of Cambridge Administration Building

Cambridge, Ohio 43725
Prospective Bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents at the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office.
Bidding Documents may be purchased from the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office by paying a non-refundable $100.00 deposit for each set. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to the City of Cambridge. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents, or electronic documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.
Pre-bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on April 1, 2026 at 10:00 am at the City of Cambridge Administration Building’s Council Chambers located at 814 Wheeling Avenue Cambridge, Ohio, 43725. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
