LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF SCITUATE Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30B, § 16, the Town of Scituate is soliciting sealed proposals to lease a portion of Town-owned land for the purpose of erecting, operating and maintaining one wireless communications monopole facility and related equipment for a term of up to twenty (20) years. The property consists of approximately 3,750 square feet of land located at 800 Chief Justice Cushing Highway (Parcel ID 25-1-1-0), on the back side of the Public Safety Complex (the “Property”), with a non-exclusive right of reasonable access thereto for the sole purpose of constructing, installing, operating, maintaining and repairing one or more telecommunications facilities to provide personal wireless services, including a 150’ telecommunications monopole, an equipment pad or shelter, cables, transmission and utility wires, poles, conduits, pipes, accessories and related equipment and improvements at said Town-owned property. The estimated fair market value of this piece of land is $5,000. Lease will be awarded, if at all, to a responsive and responsible proposer whose proposal is deemed by the Select Board to be the most advantageous to the Town, taking into consideration the value of the proposed rent and the evaluation criteria.
