NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the governing board (“Board”) of the Stockton Unified School District (“District”) will receive sealed bids for the following project, Bid No. IFB 26-09, Bid Package Chavez High School Theater Stage Update (“Project” or “Contract”): Chavez High School Theater Stage Update The Project consists of: The modernization of the Cesar Chavez High School auditorium includes the removal and replacement of the stage rigging system with required structural supports, removal and replacement of the stage floor, removal and replacement of the theatrical drapery and lighting systems, partial infill of the existing orchestra pit and installation of a new orchestra pit lift, removal of the stage wheelchair lift and replacement with a new stair and inclined wheelchair lift, new electrical systems, new AV work, new carpet in the Audience Chamber, and minor toilet room partition work. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors’ license(s):    B– General Building Contractor The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code.
