ADVERTISEMENT Sealed bids for the construction of "Mill Street Bridge over Muddy Fork Wingwall Rehabilitation”, will be received by the City of Pataskala, at 621 West Broad Street, Suite 2B, Pataskala, Ohio, 43062, until 11:00 a.m. (local time), Thursday, April 16, 2026, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work for which bids are invited consists of the wingwall rehabilitation on Mill Street Bridge over Muddy Fork (SFN4564065). The entire scope of work is detailed in the Construction Bidding Memo. Bidders must be an approved and pre-qualified CONTRACTOR with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and have a current pre-qualification certificate in order to perform the Work. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the site of the bridge, near the address of 295 Mill St., Pataskala, Ohio 43062, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 9th, 2026. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed expeditiously; therefore, schedule may be considered in the perceived best value. Payment of prevailing wages is required for this Project. The City of Pataskala, Ohio, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the Bidder whom, in their opinion, offers the perceived best value. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids.
