NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the City of Sheboygan Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of the City of Sheboygan Comprehensive Plan. The public hearing will be held as part of the City of Sheboygan Plan Commission meeting on April 28, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sheboygan City Hall, 828 Center Avenue. The City of Sheboygan Plan Commission may take action following the public hearing on the proposed adoption of the City of Sheboygan Comprehensive Plan.
The proposed comprehensive plan contains revised inventory and analysis of the city's physical setting, demographics, housing, community facilities, transportation facilities, and land uses. With assistance from the Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission, the City of Sheboygan developed the proposed comprehensive plan that describes how the City of Sheboygan envisions its development and preservation of land in the city during the next 20 years. The proposed plan includes priorities and actions as well as land use strategies depicted on a Future Land Use Map.
The proposed City of Sheboygan Comprehensive Plan is available for review at the following:
• Sheboygan City Hall (during office hours), 828 Center Avenue; and
• The proposed City of Sheboygan Comprehensive Plan is also available online at the following website: https://www.sheboyganwi.gov/601/Comprehensive-Plan
Written comments on the proposed comprehensive plan should be submitted to the City of Sheboygan at City Hall or email Taylor Zeinert, Director of Planning and Development, taylor.zeinert@sheboyganwi.gov before April 28, 2026. All written comments will be forwarded to the City of Sheboygan Plan Commission.
