HEARINGS
UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Upper Dublin Township Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 6:30pm in the Board Room at the Upper Dublin Township building at 801 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034, in order to consider the following:
An Ordinance To Amend The Code Of The Township Of Upper Dublin, Part II, General Legislation, Chapter 255, Zoning, Article XXXIII, FW Ft. Washington Village Overlay District (I) To Add A New Section 255-247.C.(6) To Provide That The Provisions Of Section 255-34, Regulations Pertaining To Steep Slopes Are Not Applicable In The FW Ft. Washington Village Overlay District and (II) To Amend Section 255-247.C.(1) To Eliminate The Exclusion Of Certain Steep Slope Areas When Calculating Developable Acreage And Other Dimensional Standards In The FW Fort Washington Village Overlay District.
In summary, the proposed amendment makes the provisions of Township Code Section 255-34 regarding increasing minimum lot sizes by various amounts for lots that contain certain types and amounts of steep slopes, and setting certain limits for impervious coverage on the increased lot area for those lots, not applicable in the Township’s zoning district known as the FW Fort Washington Village Overlay District zoning. In addition, the proposed ordinance makes the provisions of Code Sections 255-43.D(1)(a)[6] and [7] related to excluding certain steep slopes from the developable acreage and developable square footage calculations not applicable in the FW Fort Washington Village Overlay District.
The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the Upper Dublin Township building at 801 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, and a copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance may be examined free of charge at the information desk in the Township Building, at 801 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, during business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional information will be posted on the Township’s website at: www.upperdublin.net/meetings.
Citizen participation will occur in two ways. Attend the meeting in person or email questions/comments in advance to meeting@upperdublin.net by 4PM the day of the meeting along with your name and address and the Board/Commission you wish to address.
Once the meeting is completed a video will be posted to the Township’s website within 24 hours under Archives on the same webpage listed above. The agenda will be posted to the same webpage listed above at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
